Calcium Fluoride 

Calcium Fluoride (CaF₂) is used for the manufacture of optical components. It is transparent across a wide frequency range. It can be etched using Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) and Reactive Ion Etching (RIE) or Ion Beam Etch (IBE).
